Founded in 2005 by Robert and Mary Baser, Mid-River is backed with years of trout fishing experience, beginning back in the mid 60's when Robert first visited the area. Mid-River is located about 5 miles south of Norfork at the intersection of Hwy 5 and Dwelle road. Watch for the Brown "Reds Landing White River Access Area" Arkansas Game & Fish sign.
Reds Landing, located on the White River about 50 river miles below Bull Shoals Dam and 5 river miles below the city of Norfork, is the primary river access used as our base of operations. The 30 odd miles of the White River from Buffalo City to Calico Rock (Reds Landing about midway between) provides some of the best overall trout fishing in the state.
Mid-River Enterprise's primary function is to rent boats/motors, canoes, kayaks, etc. to individuals wanting to spend a day or two fishing and/or floating on the White and/or Norfork Rivers. Spending a day canoing or kayaking is great way to spend time with the entire family with lots of fun for everyone. We keep a small quanity of bait, tackle and other items directly related to the trout fishing industry. As we can not compete with larger docks and chain stores, we are forced to maintain a very limited supply of any item that we may stock. We are a young and growing operation; therefore, we continue to add inventory and services as the opportunity and/or need arises. We also offer shuttleing services in addition to routine rentals. We can usually put you in touch with a fishing guide when needed.
